AISS
AISS staat voor "Association internationale de la sécurité sociale". Het is een vereniging die in hoofdzaak instellingen en organisaties verenigt die op één of andere manier de sociale zekerheid in verschillende landen in de wereld beheren. Zij werd in 1927 opgericht en telt vandaag meer dan 320 leden uit meer dan 160 landen. De zetel is in Genève gevestigd, in het gebouw van de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie.
Zij heeft tot doel samen te werken voor de promotie en de ontwikkeling van de sociale zekerheid in de hele wereld, in het bijzonder door technische en administratieve verfijning.
Haar werkmiddelen bestaan hoofdzakelijk uit het organiseren van vergaderingen en van internationale en regionale conferenties, het bevorderen van fundamenteel onderzoek en enquêtes en door het verspreiden van informatie. Dit laatste gebeurt via het samenstellen van databases en via publicaties.
De RVA doet mee
De RVA neemt al sinds geruime tijd deel aan de technische activiteiten, het fundamenteel onderzoek en het verzamelen van documentatie.
Marc Rogiers, directeur-generaal van de algemene directie Controle bij de RVA, is voorzitter van Technische commissie voor de werkloosheidsverzekering en het behoud van de werkgelegenheid.
Tijdens bijeenkomsten en conferenties staat er regelmatig een vertegenwoordiger van de RVA op het podium. Die is voorzitter van de zitting of verslaggever en stelt soms een Belgische praktijk voor.
Benelux - grensarbeiders
Deze website groepeert nuttige info over de Benelux en dossiers waarrond deze instelling werkt. U vindt er onder meer twee informatiebrochures ten behoeve van grensarbeiders België – Nederland en Nederland – België in "publicaties".
